Hello and Welcome to Heart of Qi.

My name is Courtney Bowker and I am a Reiki practitioner and Qigong Instructor here, in the lovely mountains of North Carolina.

My journey with energy and the unseen has been unfolding long before I ever held a certificate; It’s been a path of remembering — of exploring the currents of life force that weave through all things, while learning to listen deeply to the language of the heart.

Along the way, I trained in Usui Holy Fire® Reiki, which allowed my natural sensitivity and lived experience to merge with formal practice, structure, and technique. This path awakened a deep passion within me to explore and understand the currents of life force energy, and how we can cultivate that energy for the highest good of all.

While Reiki offered me a spiritual understanding of this Qi, practices such as Qigong and Tai Chi opened the door to experiencing the mechanics of Qi within the body itself. Through these practices, I began to understand energy not only spiritually, but physically, emotionally, and energetically as well. I continue to study Medical Qigong through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine, deepening my understanding of the body, movement, breath, and energetic balance.

At the core of my practice is the Heart Space — known as the Anahata Chakra in Indian philosophy and the middle dantian within the framework of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I hope to one day cultivate a deeper learning program around the intricate magnitude of this center, but for now, I share the wisdom of this space through my practice and lived experience.

This is the space within us that governs balance, duality, connection, and harmony. I believe healing begins when the heart feels safe enough to soften its tension, release, expand, and realign. Through intuitive practice, Reiki energy healing, and meaningful conversation, my intention is to create a safe space for you to explore your inner landscape — a space for discovery, remembrance, and reconnection with your truest self.

My approach is, and will always remain, intentional, grounded, and inclusive to all. I believe energy healing is a tangible experience that anyone can benefit from and enjoy. Through sharing this heart-centered intention, my work is both practical and empowering — weaving together knowledge, intuition, and lived experience to create a well-rounded experience for each person I serve.
